We watched this because the film critic of the New Yorker recommended it as one of the three best films of 2026 so far. It wasn't even a bit good. Maybe he gets bored of seeing good films and enjoys the odd bad one. This was dull, uninteresting to look at, badly acted...a young British couple are in Warsaw where the bloke is going to propose to the woman, but she's not keen and runs off to spend the time with her former girlfriend in the city, leaving the bloke lost and confused. Too hard to care about any of them or to take any interest in how it ends.
